API for DNS zone management
Optimize domain management by using our SOAP based webservice for handling your DNS zones!
Our SOAP-API offers comprehensive functionality, and all zones associated to a customer account and operated on EPAG nameservers are accessible through the API for management. This also includes virtual instances on EPAG nameservers addressed by their own hostnames.
API implementation is easy to do in all common programming and scripting languages, and a detailed manual is available.
The API offers three core functionalities:
- Create and manipulate DNS zones: If a zone does not exist yet, this function creates a new zone, otherwise an existing zone will be replaced.
- Remove DNS zones:
- Query DNS zone data: Retrieves a list of zone entries of one or multiple zones
Zones created or changed using the API may also be edited using the web-based control panel.
Using the API is free of charge for EPAG clients.
